All events are conducted on open courses with vehicle
traffic. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST OBEY THE CALIFORNIA
VEHICLE CODE AT ALL TIMES.
A FALSE START will result in a 10 second penalty plus the number of seconds the rider false starts, so if a rider goes off two seconds early, they can expect a 12 second penalty.
Directions:
From San Jose south on Monterey Road Hwy. to Bailey
turn right heading west to Santa Teresa Road. Park
at the intersection west of Santa Teresa.

Course:
The course is a combination of all terrains, Flats,
Hills, and rolling terrain. The first 4 miles, heading
south on Santa Teresa is flat, with a usual mild
headwind. The course then makes a right hand turn
on Llagas Road and after a short 1/2 mile of twisting
flats, climbs a half mile ascent up to a 10% grade.
Following a quick twisting descent a right turn
is made at the stop sign at Oak Glen Road. At this
point the course is rolling for the first mile or
so then becomes flat until the stop sign at Uvas
Road. at which point a right turn is made. Uvas
Road proceeds north over rolling terrain, for 5
miles, until Bailey Road. At this point the course
turns right on Bailey for a short climb with a final
quick twisting descent to the finish.

Due to the complex nature of setting handicaps for
the team time trials, teams must pre-register their
roster with the Winter Series Coordinator within
72 hours of the race start (9:00 am Thursday previous).
Teams not registering their roster prior to the
race will not receive a handicap. No substitution
will be allowed for the 2 person TT.
