Tuesday Night Crit: #2 Recap
Week 2 of the 2013 season of Tuesday Night Crits greeted the riders with a nice 80 degree temperature at the start and finished in the high-70's, with a light breeze blowing out of the north. 27 A's, 24 B's, and 11 C's showed up with big smiles and legs ready to go.
The Grill On The Alley was the featured SJBC sponsor of the night. The lighter wind on Hellyer meant that the pace was high again this week, with the A's averaging about a 4:20 per lap pace, which was 5-10 seconds faster than week 1. The B's and C's were slightly faster than week 1 as well.

Cycling Clothing Donation Drive
If you have old kits that you are not wearing anymore, or helmets or shoes that no longer see any use, please consider bringing them with you to this week's TNC and donating them to a good charity. John Hostetler works with war veterans at the VA in Menlo Park and Palo Alto, who ride bikes for rehab while training for century rides. Bring your donations in plastic bags and John will load his car with them and deliver them to the VA later this week. Thanks.
